Photographs at SMK (100327 - 100829)

The great variety of photography is exposed as Den Kongelige Kobberstiksamling for the first time shows an extensive exhibition consisting solely of photographs from its own collection. With over 250 photographic pieces by Danish and international artists, the exhibition presents the great leaps and connections in the method of photography from the 1960’s and up until today. From the experimental and conceptual to the narrative, intimate and at times transcendent, the exhibition demonstrates the use of the photographic medium and its strategies.
