Kunsthallen Nikolaj

Kunsthallen Nikolaj works like Copenhagen’s leading exhibition hall for contemporary art. In the facility are between seven and nine international and Danish exhibitions displayed each year. Paintings, sculptures, photographs as well as installations are shown, which presents an opportunity for the visitors to get closer to experimental and innovative art forms. Every year there’s a special exhibition for children, created by someone which pieces can be considered pioneer work within the contemporary art. In association with the exhibitions are often concerts, performances and lectures arranged.
