Galleri Faurschou

Faurschou Gallery, founded by Luise and Jens Faurschou is situated in central Copenhagen.The gallery has become known for it's high standard-exhibitions, and for the sensational paintings of the wild and expressive kind. Focus is on modernistic art, mainly from the last 20 years, but you can also find art by big celebrities like Picasso, Munch and Miró. Of contemporary Danish artists, Nina Sten-Knudsen and Erik A. Frandsen are notable. They also have works by great international artists such as Robert Raushenberg, Georg Baselitz, Gerhard Richter, Tom Sanford and Andy Warhol. Photographers Tracey Moffatt and Nan Goldin are also displayed here.
