This is a café that offers a little bit of everything. You order the breakfast buffet and brunch by marking things you want to eat with a cross on a list. While eating your meal you can be sitting down in an old cinema chair made out of red velour or sit in the American 60's kitchen. Breakfast buffet is served from 8am-11pm on weekdays, but you may order breakfast and brunch until 5 pm, that’s when you mark your selections with a cross on a list. For instance you can make selections like chocolate in your croissant or not, what kind of topping you would like on your sour milk and so on. Bang & Jensen’s day and evening menus are quite different in their composition, if you ask why you’ll probably get the answer that it doesn’t matter as long as it tastes great. The menu offers sandwiches, salads, nachos and soup and lots of vegetarian options like aubergine and pesto sandwich, potato soup or tofu salad. Bang & Jensen is popular because the delicious food is inexpensive, they have free wireless internet, it's close to Vega and on Saturdays the café turns into Ingeborgs Coctail Salon, were you can enjoy cocktails and at the same time listen to electronically jazz and breaks. If you are a male, you have to prepare yourself for a rather different experience. You can take part in playing a game called urinal cup; a small ping-pong ball should be manoeuvred with the strength of your jet and patience.
