Frilandsmuseet

Frilandsmuseet is an open-air museum, situated on the countryside. Here you can experience what farms and houses has looked like for the last 300 years. They have a detailed collection of everything from blacksmith's workshops, shoe mender shops and mansions. In this way, you can experience the Danish everyday life throughout history. They also have animals you can visit, which is very popular with the children. They have beautiful mansion parks and farmers gardens which you can take guided tours in. This is more than a traditional museum; here they have a variety of activities all the year round, such as outdoor theatre, handicraft days, dancing and much more. If you get hungry you can eat in one of their and afterwards you can take a ride with a horse and carriage. The museum is a part of Nationalmuseet.
