Arnold Busck Boghandel

Arnold Busck Boghandel is a chain of book shops that has existed since 1896. You’ll find twenty book shops in Denmark, four of them in Copenhagen. Besides the book shop in Købmagergade there’s also the concept book shops Børnenes Boghandel, Arnold Busck Antikvariat and the book shop in Statens Museum For Kunst. The branch in Købmagergade is a three storey shop with Copenhagen’s largest assortment of quality books, particularly within the fields of art, architecture, design and photography. But you’ll also find a large selection of Danish and foreign fiction, travel books and much more. This is also a great spot to take a break and enjoy a cup of coffee in the Baresso café that’s situated inside the book store. And only a few steps away you’ll find the children’s book shop which is Denmark’s oldest. You’ll find a large assortment of literature for children and adolescents (age group 0-17 years old), music CDs, posters and foreign language books. The second-hand book shop has a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction and specialises in the Humanities, arts and art manufacture, architecture, archaeology and Greenland. The book shop in Statens Museum For Kunst there is a large selection of Danish and foreign books and magazines about art and its history. They also sell the museum’s own books and catalogues as well as posters and cards from the museum exhibitions.
