Vikingeskibsmuseet

Vikingeskibsmuseet, The Viking ship museum, in Roskilde gives you an opportunity to discover five authentic Viking ships. An exhibition tells exciting stories about the ships, life at sea and the Viking Age in Scandinavia. The museums Viking ship and a number of other Scandinavian ships lie at the harbour at the museums island. During the summer are Viking ship voyages arranged several times a day, and you can try your strength at the oars. The museum has received three stars according to the Michelin attractions guide, every year the museum has 130 000 visitors.
