The Laundromat Cafe

It´s excactly what it sounds like – The Laundromat café is both a café and a laundromat. Here you can have everything from lunch to dinner while washing clothes for 32 DKK, including detergent. The owners come from Iceland and it shows on the menu – everything revolves around fish and seafood, besides on Mondays when there is no fresh fish available. They also offer pasta, steak, biscuits and croissants and everything is homemade. The bar has 4000 books you can go through while waiting for your food, as it´s sometimes a long waiting time. Inside you´ll see three exhibition cabinets where up and coming clothing designers are invited to display a piece of their design. The Laundromat Café was awarded “Best lunch in Copenhagen” 2007, and also has a branch in Osterbro.
