Literature in God's house

What to do with an abandoned church? On Møllegade 7 in Copenhagen there’s an old Methodist church called Bathania, which came to life once again in 2005 as LiteraturHaus was opened. The intention was to create a meeting-place for authors, critics, students and others interested in literature. In addition to events like weekly literary cafés, poetry festivals and guest lectures by different authors, LiteraturHaus also offers a place for experiencing music, film and art.

A house of contrasts
