Tea themeIf you´re into fruit teas and grandma culture you should head for Tea Time. Tea Time is probably the most girlie tea salon in all of Denmark where British romance meets shabby chic. Here you can have your afternoon tea in beautifully ornamented cups, and relax in one of the luxe satin sofas. The assortment is large with many aromatic teas like Bailey´s or quince tea. If you feel indecisive, try their own “Tea Time tea” - a sweet smelling mix of rose leaves, cornflower, orange and vanilla. Upper class teaA.C. Perch’s Thehandel is Denmark´s oldest tea salon and makes the most of traditions and customs. They´ve kept the original 19th century interior and they still use old copper scales to weigh the tea leaves. If you walk up the stairs to the second floor you can have a genuine afternoon tea in the retro tea salon. If you´re looking for a classic Danish patisserie with a touch of luxury you should visit Royal Copenhagen. Here you can pick cakes and biscuits from the grand pastry buffet, and enjoy it with tea served in classic porcelain cups. Published 2008-11-25 11:01 |
