Hail a cab

You can easily get hold of a cab in Copenhagen, just look if the green sign is on. If you order a cab in advance, they add an additional charge, so the taximeter starts at 32 DKK. If you want a larger taxi or a minivan, it’s best to book in advance.

Taxi during nighttime

If you’re going back to the hotel or such, you can count or increased prices. There is an additional charge depending on the time of night, so from 11pm-1am, it’s price category 2, whilst price category 3 is between 2-7am. If you have a bike, but still wish to take a cab, you can bring it for an extra 20 DKK, but note that it’s not every cab driver who appreciates this, so ask polite.
