To and From the Airport

Copenhagens airport, Kastrup, is one of the most important traffic hubs in the Northern Europe. Travelling to and from Kastrup is both easy and comfortable, and the fastest way is to travel by train. It only takes 12 minutes from the Central station, Hovedbanegården, to Kastrup, and the trains run every 10 minutes. The metro takes 15 minutes and departs even more frequently. Tickets can be bought at the ticket office in Terminal 3 at Kastrup, or in one of the ticket machines. Just outside Terminal 3, you’ll find taxis, some of them reserved for travels to Malmoe. With the Oresund trains (=Øresundstogen) you can reach Malmoe’s central station in 20 minutes. Car rental can also be arranged from the airport, there are a number of companies situated in the arriving hall. Most of the larger companies offer rental in advance.
