Betty Nansen Teatret

Betty Nansen Teatret, with the annexed stage Edison, has through the 90's cultivated a wide classic and politically provocative repertoire. New and untraditional versions of dramas, written by Lars Norén and P.O. Enquists have been performed here. Betty Nansen Teatret have managed to attract foreign stars such as William Burroughs and Tom Waits, whose Black Rider became a culture performance in the end of the 1990's. In the year 2000 Robert Wilson and Tom Waits created ”Woyzeck” with the Georg Büchners original as prototype, specific for Betty Nansen Teatret and struck the Danish theatre with amazement. ” Woyzeck” has since then made guests performances all over the world.
